Refining, refining, feedback, more refining
Animation is just an obscenely long process, with a constant cycle of feedback and refining until either the deadline arrives, or until everyone happens to be fully satisfied... so yeah, until the deadline arrives. After the block out and some basic movement, the following week was mostly just refining the movement until it started looking the way I wanted it to look. It was a little like a big hierarchy list of things to do, starting with things that stick out the most and moving on once they've been taken care off.
After every day, I'd send my progress to the tutor to receive some valuable insight on my work and what else might need improvements. In no small part these feedback sessions is what shaped said 'to do list'.
It was still far from over, but at least I could see the end of it already. Thankfully that stage of project comes with a bunch of additional motivation to take it to the end. :)
Or maybe it's the fear of the encroaching deadline? Who knows...
